Championship winners Newcastle
United have completed the permanent signing of winger Christian Atsu
from Chelsea for an undisclosed fee on a four-year deal.
The 25-year-old Ghana international scored five goals in 35 appearances on loan with the Magpies this season.He moved to Chelsea in 2013 but never made an appearance for the Blues with loan spells at Vitesse Arnhem, Everton, Bournemouth and Malaga.
"We are happy to sign a good player," said boss Rafael Benitez.
"Christian has been a key part of our promotion campaign and he wants to help us to build something for the future."
